England are set to face old rivals India in a busy five-match Test series.
Playing at Headingley between the 20-24 June, the home soil advantage will be crucial for the team to rewrite the wrongs of their 4-1 series defeat away from home last year.
England dominated the West Indies in the T20 series earlier in June, securing a clean sweep that showcased accurate and ‘smart’ cricket.
The team's 37-run victory was particularly noteworthy, largely due to Ben Duckett's impressive 84 runs and powerful hitting.

While there's anticipation for England's performance in the upcoming Test Series, Ben Stokes isn't currently the main draw for spectators.
India cricketer Jasprit Bumrah has shown just why he is the best, currently holding the title as the world’s leading wicket-taker in Test cricket.
Definitely something for England to think about heading into the series.

The Indian team have recently had three players retire: Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma and Ravichandran Ashwin.
That being said, cricket in India is evolving and there is no shortage of talent in the country.

Although some argue Kohli’s retirement could limit the squad’s chance of winning, some critics have said there may not be a difference because the side has never won a series with him.
England captain Ben Stokes’ legacy as England’s greatest cricketers of all time may rest on his performance between now and January, when his side go away to Australia and New Zealand.

Both tests are massive head-to-heads in the cricketing world and a tough ask for the English men.
Stokes and head coach Brendon McCullum have said that they want to to play ‘smarter’ cricket heading in the India Test, a sign that the messages from supporters have finally been received.
Given that India has not won since 2007, England will be the favourites to take the series and have a chance to maintain their winning streak in test matches.
